Well...we both came out of that really well didn't we? They've got just enough of the truth in there to be too close to the mark, but most of it is totally fabricated and exaggerated.

Have you had any trouble since it came out? I know how Lydia is one of your good mates, hope she's been ok about it. If all else fails maybe we should just both go into hiding somewhere hey?

I really, really hope Lydia isn't mad at me--I dunno how these rules are! I hardly even talk to blokes outside of you! If I'd have known it was going to get blown out of proportion and get me into this kind of trouble...

I know you didn't...you don't deserve anything of this. Shin's a sound bloke, I'm sure he won't let this get in the way of your friendship, and Hales, if you like him (and don't jump on me, I said if) don't let this ruin the chance of something ok. Lydia ditched him didn't she? I know what the "rules" about this sort of thing are, but they're stupid guidelines at best.

Just wait til next edition...they're probably say I'm trying to get my wicked way with you as well. This is bad, really bad. The whole fucking school seems to be whispering about me and laughing at me. Have you been getting that shit too?

I can't really think about that right now. I have to keep bitches from three different houses off my back, and I still haven't spoken to Lydia. How I feel about Shin--if I like him in a more than platonic way, will have to go on the backburner just now.

Yes, sadly. I've had to pull out all the 'evil' stops and just start hissing back. I've never insulted so many people in my life--though to be fair, everything I said to the arseholes was true.

I'm sorry Hales, really I am. We need to find out who is behind this shit and teach them a lesson. No-one has the right to mess with other peoples lives. Just know if you want to talk about it then I'm always here to listen.

I only just saw what that tremendous twat of a Potter wrote in his diary. If he expected me to just sit back and take it then he's mistaken...although I'm kind of worried about quidditch now. I think Mal is getting edgy about what might happen. If I lose my spot on the team for this I will never forgive Potter or the idiots who wrote the gossip column.

Then the thing to do is keep a steady head then, yeah? If Potter loses it, he loses it. You on the other hand cannot afford to, and are so much better than that.

Plus, I'm tired of being scared of what people are going to think or sorry for talking to a bloke. It's getting really old, really fast. So I'm on to phase two: Really Not Giving Two Shits. It's working, so far. :-)

I'm sorry Mal. I won't let this cause a problem for the match I promise. Potter can do what the fuck he wants. If anything, this has made me even more determined to kick their sorry arses on the pitch.

I'm going to try and keep a low profile for a bit, although this is ridiculous! I've not even done anything fucking wrong. Christ, I've been on few dates with his sister...and I like her, y'know...I'm not just fucking her about. What more does he want. Yeah I know it's not ideal, but that's life for you.

And I don't know where the fuck this absolute shit about me and Al came from. He's one of my best mates, but that's all we've ever been...Harboring a crush on my polar opposite for gods sake??? And to bring what my parents would say into it...I'm sure they think it's hilarious, but if father finds out about this I don't even want to think about it. He'll probably send me to Durmstrang or something!

I'm withholding opinion on this relationship because you're a teammate, housemate, and friend but bloody hell Scorpius, I don't know what the hell you're thinking. The stuff with Al isn't anything to worry about. Just some load of crock because people can't get enough of the gay gossip. Merlin knows I've been targeted by it. Every guy who's close to another guy will have something said or asked at some point in time. It's just what happens. Aston and I have been on the end of it and figure that'll hit the gossip train at some point too. Just forget about that bit. And your father won't care. Well, he might, but if he does just tell me and I'll owl him. As your Captain I'm sure he'd take that with more than a grain of salt.

I worry for him more than me really, I mean, half the school knows I'm not fussy regarding boys or girls, but something like this will mortify Al.Twats. Makes me think girls write the column! They just love to dream that all the hot boys are running around having wild nights of passion with each other I tell you!
