Wow...last night was quite something. I've never been to a gig quite like it, it has to be said.

Gerard Llewellyn, what can I say? That man is hot The man is amazing. Of course he didn't remain fully clothed for long, and neither did most of the audience...it was quite a sight!

Of course, I don't like to be rude, so I obliged and removed my t-shirt...perhaps a little more willingly than I normally would but then I had consumed a fair amount of alcohol on the sly by this point...Something my head is protesting about this morning, so I'm going to be raiding the potions cupboard in a bit!

I seem to have collected a good few phone numbers, although I don't really remember doing so; guess I was too busy jumping around to really notice. Awesome lot of people there though even if the girls were a tad amorous...and the some of the boys too it has to be said. A group of them who I was chatting to grabbed me and dragged me to the front to dance, and I managed to catch a drumstick when it was thrown into the audience,although I nearly got mobbed by a group of fangirls who were clearly willing to kill just to touch something a band member had owned...they were special. The later parts of the night are a tad blurry but I do remember there being a lot of snogging, but who am I to complain?

All in all and excellent night all round, but now I really need to go and lay down!

I cannot believe the first term of the year is over already! I'm not sure if I'm excited about the holidays or not. I'm not going to miss classes, but it always seems somewhat quiet at the manor without you guys.

Father is has agreed to drop the 'France for the whole holiday' idea, mainly because he now wants me to go to this New Years Charity Bash, which is fine with me because it means seeing some of my friends.

Hales, I definitely want to visit you, so look out for an owl for me asking what dates would be good and what not. I'll send one when I send your present.

Al, have a great holiday mate. I'll be owling you your gift to unless I get to see you on the train! I'll keep an eye out for you. I would say we should meet up over the holidays...but well, don't know how the parentals would feel about that.

A couple of days ago he owled me to tell me what our Christmas plans involved going to France, but frankly going to France is over-rated, and I find it a tad dull, so I want to stay and attend the gig. I wouldn't mind, but now I've come of age he just wants to take me to a posh area and try and introduce me to as many snooty rich girls as possible-not that he'll have told mother that, oh no, he'll have told her he's taking her there because she deserves a rest.

Maybe I can plead that we only need a week away, not two. Come hell or high water I will be celebrating with my team!

Seems I got away lightly with the whole gossip column this time round which makes a change. I was somewhat hoping that they just wouldn't bother to spread such tat a second time round but it seems I was placing too much faith in humanity.

To those who think Slytherin cheated, watch us win all our matches, and do so fairly. You generally don't consider us capable of much; yet if we win we must have done it through complex cheating. Funny that.

No-one bad mouths my friends and gets away with it. Consider yourself warned, because anonymity won't be your friend forever!

I'm bored, bored of work and bored of unpredictable and somewhat crappy weather! Does anyone fancy meeting up and hanging out for a bit? If so please let me know before my boredom kills me.

The workload, it never ends! Things have been so busy I haven't even managed to celebrate my birthday properly yet, which is just outrageous, that said I did spend some of my birthday cash at Hogsmeade.

I cannot believe that it's only lunch time and I already have an absolute stack of work; tell me guys, is it just my professors being mean, or are they all being this evil? Who sets surprise tests this early in the morning, seriously?

I currently hate myself for letting the snitch distract me, but it was buzzing round me like some kid of wasp and I just wasn't expecting it.

Well...we both came out of that really well didn't we? They've got just enough of the truth in there to be too close to the mark, but most of it is totally fabricated and exaggerated.

This weather is getting ridiculous now. I don't dislike snow, in fact if you're in front of a nice roaring fire indoors whilst watching it fall it's great...but this is not so great. I mean, they've canceled quidditch practice! We have a game approaching, and now more than ever we should be practicing, wet the stupid snow is preventing us from doing so. It had best start clearing up before Care of Magical Creatures I can tell you! It's alright for Hagrid, it only comes up to his ankles, but it'll be at least knee deep for the rest of us!


That being said, is anyone up for a really good snowball fight? Guess we should make the most of it whilst it's here.

I made the team, I'm actually on the field for the match against Gryffidor! Bring it on! Even more in love with my broom right now. Total result.

Hogsmeade was good, really good in fact. I am now the proud owner of an Aquaredic broom and I can honestly say it is amazing. Best present I've ever received I think. Roll on the next weekend-that's all I can say!


Oh, and so I don't get a beating I should probably say the company was pretty good too ;)

Seems like everybody has come back down after the divination room 'incident'. Thankfully I didn't fare too badly, but I still saw and heard some pretty weird things for a few hours. I'm going to proceed with caution next time I decide to take a shortcut via the classroom I can tell you!I've heard some pretty special stories about what some of you got up to, and I have to say I'm sad I missed seeing them in person.

Ugh. As much as I love transfiguration, double transfiguration is just a step too far it has to be said. I don't know who had rattled Baggerly's cage today but she was a right pain in the arse. I heard a rumour one of the other years had played a prank on her, if anyone knows more do tell me more.

I see the race for house points in on again, I swear everyone gets more and more hungry for it every year. Sadly for all the other houses its blatantly going to be Slytherin's this year ;)But still, it doesn't do them any harm to dream. And now I'm going to dodge the hexes and rocks being thrown in my direction.

How are you all finding this academic year so far? Everyone seems to be so busy with work that I've not had time to catch up properly with half of you, so spill and tell me what's been going on.

A boy can dream right? Still, if I whine on non-stop until my birthday maybe father will crack and if I get desperate I could always try grandfather. And no, I know I don't need one, but I still want it.

It's almost that delightful time of year again. I can't decide if I want it to be term already or if I want to go back to the beginning of the summer. Guess I have no choice in the matter.

Mother is angry at me,what for you may ask? She's angry because I've grown...I jest not. Rather than being proud that I am 'blossoming nicely' as my grandmother put it, she is complaining that it means I require a whole new school wardrobe. I don't pretend to understand the way women work, my mother is no exception.

Anyone got any last minute shopping to do? If so I may see you around in Diagon Alley. Out of curiosity what subjects are you lot planning on taking, I'm curious to see who my classmates are going to be.
